I suppose that this is the introductory entry.  I am not much for self-introductions, although, I am quite able to ramble on incessantly, so that typically makes for a peculiar mixture of boring, yet voluminous, entries.  Well, I am Mike Murray, a college graduate with a Bachelor's in Political Science, with minors in Theology and History.  Since graduating, in 2006, I have worked in the halls of American Higher Education, at the smallish Catholic, Liberal Arts school that I call my alma mater.  As a conservative, perhaps neoconservative, living in Massachusetts -- the Bluest State -- working in Higher Education -- the Bluest Institution -- it's needlessly obvious that, well, I've got a serious case of the blues.  I'm overtaxed, poorly paid, and under-represented in state office.

I've been running a political blog for roughly two years, perhaps longer and I write regularly for a local politics blog for the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.  I am sure that links exist somewhere on this page for both of those.

I'll chiefly be writing about Massachusetts politics, Higher Education, and the assault on Western liberalism (not liberality) by post modernity, pluralism, and whatever other vicious attackers we have.
